We build with structural-grade aluminum - lightweight, rust-proof, and engineered to shrug off salt air, humidity, and decades of Florida weather without warping, rotting, or corroding.
Powder coating is not paint. The finish is sprayed on dry, given an electrostatic charge so it wraps every face and edge of the extrusion, then baked until it fuses to the metal. What comes out is a single hard shell that does not run, does not brush-mark, and does not peel away from the aluminum the way a wet coat eventually does.
Ours is done locally rather than shipped across the country and back, which is the single biggest reason our color turnaround beats what most of the industry quotes. When you change your mind about a color in week two, it does not cost you a month.
A lot of what gets sold as an aluminum pergola in this state arrives here flat-packed, cut to a handful of catalog sizes, with instructions translated twice. Ours does not. The metal is American, and the structure is built for the space it is going into.
Your measurements set the post spacing, the beam spans and the louver count, and the engineering is run against Florida wind load before anything is cut. Everything is fitted and checked on the floor first, so the parts that show up on site are the parts that go together.
The install is where most outdoor projects go sideways, and it is the part we refuse to hand to somebody else. The same company that measured your space and built your structure is the one standing in your yard setting it.
We pull the permits, handle the engineering paperwork, anchor to the slab or footings the drawings call for, and leave the site clean. Most residential installs are done in a day or two, and you get a walkthrough of the controls before we pack up.
What you are left with is not a shade sail that sags by August or a wood pergola you will be re-staining in two summers. It is a permanent structure, in your color, that opens to the sky at ten in the morning and closes over the table when the afternoon storm rolls in.
